On August 8, 2025, Mr. Vasile Bolea, the representative authorized by the Political Party "RENAŞTERE" according to the minutes of the Political Bureau meeting held on August 3, 2025, submitted to the Central Electoral Commission the application for the registration of the list of candidates for the position of Member of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on behalf of the Political Party "RENAŞTERE" for the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, along with the documents specified in point 25 of the Regulation on the particularities of the nomination and registration of candidates for parliamentary elections, approved by the decision of the Central Electoral Commission no. 1204/2023.
The draft decision entitled "On the application for the registration of candidates for the position of Member of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on behalf of the Political Party 'RENAŞTERE' for the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, the electoral symbol, and the confirmation of the person responsible for finances (the treasurer)" was examined at the meeting of the Central Electoral Commission on August 15, 2025, but did not receive the required number of votes for approval.
As a result, the file was reassigned for examination to another commission responsible for receiving and verifying the documents submitted for the registration of initiative groups and candidates for the position of Member of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, established by the order of the President of the Central Electoral Commission no. 68-a of July 18, 2025.- Subsequently, by the ruling of August 19, 2025, of the Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Litigation Panel of the Chișinău Court of Appeal (Centru), the request of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova was admitted regarding the imposition, as a precautionary measure, of the suspension of activities of the Political Party "RENAŞTERE," the Political Party "ŞANSĂ," the Political Party "Force of Alternative and Salvation of Moldova," and the Political Party "VICTORIE," for the duration of the examination of the civil case filed at the request for legal proceedings concerning the recognition of their status as successor political parties of a political party declared unconstitutional and the dissolution of the political parties.
- At the same time, by the address registered under no. CEC-7/22032 of August 21, 2025, the Public Services Agency informed the Commission about the amendments made, based on the ruling of the Chișinău Court of Appeal (Centru) of August 19, 2025, in the State Register of Legal Entities regarding the suspension of activities of the four political parties mentioned above.
